View Safety DocumentationWhat does CE marking mean?
The CE mark demonstrates that the manufacturer has assessed the product and declares that it complies with the applicable European Union requirements for safety, health and consumer protection.
For toys placed on the EU market, this includes the requirements of the applicable European toy safety legislation.
Hedda Sweden is CE marked on the basis of a documented conformity assessment supported by technical documentation, safety assessments, testing and documentation relating to the materials and components used in the product.
CE marking is a manufacturer declaration of conformity — not a general quality certification.
We believe transparency is important, which is why selected supporting documentation is made available below.
European Toy Safety
Hedda Sweden has been designed and assessed with the safety of young children as a fundamental requirement.
Products classified as toys and placed on the European market must comply with the applicable European toy safety legislation.
Safety backed by testing and documentation
Compliance is not based on the CE symbol alone. It is supported by a structured conformity assessment process covering the product, its intended use, construction, materials and relevant safety risks.
Mechanical & Physical Safety
Assessment of areas such as construction, stability, accessible components, edges, openings, durability and foreseeable use.
Material & Chemical Safety
Documentation and testing relating to materials, coatings and components used in the product.
Product Construction
Safety considerations relating to the complete assembled product, including its structure, wheels, handle, fasteners and other components.
Intended Use
Assessment based on the intended users of Hedda Sweden and reasonably foreseeable use of the product.
Standards and requirements
Standards and technical requirements used as part of the conformity assessment are listed here as they are documented and released.

Safety through transparency
Hedda Sweden is designed for children during one of the most exciting stages of their development. That makes safety one of our most important responsibilities.
Our approach combines thoughtful product design, carefully selected materials, documented safety assessment and testing against applicable requirements.
We continuously maintain the technical documentation supporting the product and review relevant requirements as European product safety legislation evolves.
